Komputer for alle: "The perfect solution"
 "Shuttle delivers the perfect solution for anyone who wants to use the entirety of media centre functions without having a boring PC stitting in the living room taking up much room," state the editors of Scandinavia's premier computer magazine Komputer for alle. The Shuttle XPC mini X 200 convinced the editors managing a proud overall score of 8 out of 10 points.
The Shuttle XPC mini X 200 comes along in a design which is "of top quality" featuring a black case with a silver strip across the case. "This amazing media centre is small, very small," describe the editors the dimensions of the case. "It's a bit smaller than 6cm and can be covered by just an A4 sheet of paper" which easily integrates in the living room.
"Despite its dimunitive size," this system has technologies working under the hood which "pack much of punch" and manage the pre-installed Win XP MCE 2005 "without any problems." Specification-wise "you get a good deal of memory, a large hard disk" and a TV tuner that can receive both digital and analog signals. Moreover, the Shuttle XPC mini X 200 as reviewed was equipped with the following hardware: Intel Core Duo processor, card reader, W-LAN and HDMI adapter. As a "nice little extra" there is "a good remote control" included in the package as well.
The Shuttle XPC mini X 200 also shows its futureproof potential, when the editors point out: "Should one wish to upgrade to Windows Vista at a later time," the Shuttle XPC mini X 200 runs this new OS "fluently with all visual details."
