"An impressive system" recently paid a visit to the test labs of the British computer magazine PC World. The small form factor PC dedicated to sit in the home environment is kept "cool and quiet" by its power supply and managed to convince the editors thanks to its high connectivity.
The Shuttle XPC Barebone SN68PTG6 Deluxe that is ready to take most recent AMD AM2 processors is "an impressive system," according to the leading UK IT publication PC World. The system uses the Nvidia nForce 630a chipset "which includes integrated GeForce 7050PV graphics." The HDCP compliant HDMI output of the GPU allows for playback of high definition media such as Blu-ray discs.
Featuring "the same heatpipe and power supply arrangement" as it is being used in other XPCs, the SN68PTG6 Deluxe barebones PC is kept "cool and quiet." Besides, "all the audio and networking ports you could hope for, as well as two Firewire and six USB ports" are available. There is even "an 802.11g Wifi adapter fitted internally" in addition to "a dongle for DVI connectivity," writes PC World. |
