PC Magazin: "A powerful PC"

The first Viiv-ready PCs were in focus of the German computer magazine PC Magazin, when they tested the Shuttle XPC Barebone SD36G5M as the world’s first SFF PC meeting the Intel Viiv standards.

The editors test criteria were mainly its suitability for the living room, power consumption and of course, performance! Right from the start, the editors loved the exterior of the Shuttle XPC Barebone SD36G5M: "Stylish box," states PC Magazin. Especially when it came to power consumtion Shuttle’s new member of the Shuttle family was cited for only 102 Watt in operation. None of the other models joining the test could beat the Shuttle XPC Barebone SD36G5M in this segment. Moreover, the IT-experts praised the easy assembly of this Shuttle XPC Barebone. It went "without a hitch" to set it up to a fully-configured PC. In terms of performance the Shuttle XPC Barebone SD36G5M impressed the editors of PC Magazin who certified true performance.
