"Shuttle has the largest range of SFF PCs in the market now and their relatively quick turnaround time in design and production means that it is likely to have an SFF PC out for a particular platform or chipset before its other rivals," write the editors of Hardwarezone.com. Asia's top hardware website tested the latest flagship: the Shuttle XPC Barebone SN25P.

Thanks to the innovative tool-less drive installation making it possible to install up to 4 drives without a hitch, the editors were quickly impressed: "We are least concerned about this capability for an SFF system." Its testers fell in love with the excellent performance as well. "Our benchmarks show that the SN25P performs very well for an SFF PC and even exceeds our reference nForce4 Ultra board for some of the graphics intensive benchmarks."

Moving on to the noise level, the editors quickly found the reason for its low noise operation: The "Cool and Quiet feature:" "The noise output is also at a minimum and the SN25P is barely audible during normal operation." Perfect Performance, low noise level and many other features. No wonder the editors were impressed: "Other rivals may need to resort to cheap tricks to grab attention, but Shuttle has proved that keeping up with the trend and giving consumers what they want in a small, elegant and yet powerful package."

Conclusion:

"Those who have always wanted a high-end AMD Athlon 64 to grace their living rooms or LAN parties do not have to despair anymore; Shuttle's XPC SN25P provides the answer. [...] It is already in a class of its own."
