2005-04-26 - Gamestar: "Power cube"
The German gaming magazine Gamestar has a closer look at Shuttle's fastest Small Form Factor (SFF) PC, the Shuttle XPC Barebone SN25P, in their latest issue: This “perfectly manufactured cube” was quite a hit with the editors. The cooling system along with the well-designed space allocation were praised, and the Shuttle XPC Barebone SN25P received an overall score of 91 out of 100 points. No Small Form Factor PC had ever received a score this high in Gamestar… until now!
The Shuttle XPC Barebone SN25P was the great winner for the German gaming magazine Gamestar, with the latest from Shuttle receiving 91 of 100 points. And no wonder: “The test configuration featured an Athlon 64/3200+, 1.0 GB of DDR400 RAM and a GeForce 6600 GT, … the SN25P achieved very good benchmark results. At 1280 to 1024 pixels and full details Half-Life 2 ran with 31.2 fps and Far Cry managed a very smooth 53.6 fps. And the noise level remained at acceptable levels.” The staff was also enthused by details like the CMOS reset button at the back and the opportunity to install in “long and wide 3D cards.”
